In early January, the reality television show Bridezillas contacted us on behalf of Regina - a Bridezilla that wanted to include Charming Charlie in her wedding preparations. In case you don't know what Bridezillas is, it's a reality tv show that follows a (sometimes over zealous) bride during the trials and tribulations of planning her wedding.  All of the stores that are selected by the bride have to give consent for their business to be used on television.

One one hand, we were thrilled and flattered to be selected! The brides on Bridezillas are quite often ... particular, so the fact that we made the cut, was an honor. On the other hand, we were a bit apprehensive. What if the Bridezilla has a meltdown in the middle of the store? Hmmm. We gave it some thought and decided that  with our fun atmosphere, selection of sparkling special occasion jewelry and great bridal party gifts, we just might be the perfect therapy for a stressed out bride.

So, on January 27, 2010 we welcomed Regina and her friend Ronda to Charming Charlie, our second ever location, on Highway 242 and I-45 in The Woodlands/Conroe area. And well, we were right - Regina and Ronda had a great time. They shopped for bridal accessories and bridesmaid gifts. The bride said she would be back later when she had more time.
